Leeds United are just 10 games from returning to the Premier League following their 16-year absence from England's top-flight.

Marcelo Bielsa's men are on an impressive run of form of late, having won four of their last five games, conceding just one goal.

It looks like Leeds have put to bed their poor run of form between mid-December and February that saw them let slip an 11 point lead on third place.

United's recent run of four wins have seen them put in thoroughly professional performances with 1-0 wins against Bristol City, Reading, and Middlesbrough preceding their 4-0 rout at Hull City last weekend.

One of United's stand-out players this term is 28-year-old Stuart Dallas, who has impressed in a variety of positions for Leeds so far this term.

The Northern Irishman has featured in all the 36 of United's Championship games this season and has been used at right-back, left-back, and central midfield by Marcelo Bielsa this campaign.

Dallas' versatility and willingness to give 100% for the team in every game has won many plaudits from the Leeds United faithful, with some even suggesting he could be a good shout for player of the season.

On Tuesday evening, the 28-year-old took to

Alongside a picture of his team in a huddle before their recent clash with Middlesbrough, Dallas wrote "10 to go" indicating the United players know how close they are to achieving promotion.

Leeds have some favourable fixtures coming up over the next few weeks but will be wary although their upcoming opposition are at the wrong end of the table, they will no doubt pose a threat on the day.

QUIZ: Are these Leeds United statements true or false?

The Verdict

Dallas' use of the photo of the team in the huddle suggests the togetherness that has been evident since Marcelo Bielsa came into Leeds is there more than ever.

The players will be keen to avoid a similar ending to this season to one that they experienced last term, and it is obvious that the players acknowledge they aren't far away from clinching a place in next season's Premier League.

Dallas has represented everything Leeds are about this term - 'Side before self' - and should they continue to play the way they have over the last few weeks, they will know they can write themselves into Leeds United's history.
