Stoke City are looking for back-to-back victories in the Championship for the first time this season when they host Fulham.

The Potters have endured a dismal start to the campaign and they currently sit bottom of the league with serious pressure on boss Nathan Jones.

However, that was relieved slightly after the vital 2-1 success at Swansea prior to the international break.

So, this has the feeling of a huge fixture for Stoke and that was reflected by keeper Jack Butland

/B3w-ERxp6V2/">who took to Instagram to send out a message to the fans.

"Focused, determined and working hard! Let’s build on our first win of the season tomorrow."

The England stopper has had a miserable season from an individual perspective, with Adam Federici currently in goal ahead of Butland after he made a host of mistakes over the past few months.

After initially losing his place after errors at Preston, he then won his place back last month before another significant blunder against Nottingham Forest saw him drop to the bench.

A victory for Stoke could move them level on points with fourth from bottom.

The verdict

Butland comes across well in this because everyone knows just how tough he has had it in the past few months but he clearly still cares about the team.

Plus, he knows he will be on the bench again tomorrow but it highlights that he has a good attitude.

Now, it's down to the players to build on that huge win at Swansea last time, although it's going to be very hard against a classy Fulham outfit.
