According to reports in Germany, Leeds United and Norwich City target Marvin Ducksch will decide his future in the next few days.
German media outlet Bild is reporting that Jurgen Milewski – a representative for Ducksch – says his client’s future will find a “reasonable solution” in the coming days.
Ducksch currently plays for St Pauli but he wants to leave the German second tier side.
Last season, Ducksch was farmed out on loan to fellow Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel, where he netted 18 goals to top the scoring charts in the division.
The 24-year-old is now a target for Fortuna Dusseldorf, who won the Bundesliga 2 and were consequently promoted to the top flight.
But their chase for the former Borussia Dortmund youngster has hit a snag with Fortuna Dusseldorf and St Pauli apart on their valuation of the player.
St Pauli want €3m for Ducksch, which Fortuna Dusseldorf are not prepared to match at this stage.
Norwich City and Leeds United are also said to be interested in the former Germany youth international and could offer him a chance to play Championship football.
Farke and Ducksch have both been at Borussia Dortmund before, while Leeds are searching for a new striker.
Ducksch is a goal scorer and he is finally starting to realise the potential he showed at Dortmund.
He is still relatively young and could prove to be an excellent signing in the Championship because he is continuing to get better.
Leeds are still searching for their long-term Chris Wood replacement while Norwich desperately need goals to move forwards.
