Queens Park Rangers have had a brilliant season so far where they have established themselves as outsiders for the play-offs.
After a dreadful start that saw the club lose the first four games, and boss Steve McClaren nearly lose his job, the R’s bounced back and went on a brilliant run leading up to the Christmas period.
Although there are tough games to come, QPR can be happy with a mid-table finish, as at one point, they were looking a certain for relegation.
There is a very slim chance that the Hoops could challenge for the play-offs, and one way they could do this is to make some additions in the final week of the window.
If so, they would have to sell some players to make room.
Here, we look at three players we think could realistically leave the club by the end of the January transfer window, due to a lack of game time and also to raise money.

Matt Smith
Matt Smith is the striker out of favour, despite being McClaren’s go-to man off the bench. Although he has made many appearances off the bench, he will not be happy.
At 29, Smith still has a few years yet to offer, and a move away from QPR could be the best decision in the long-run, as Wells and Hemed seem to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
The striker has been linked with Millwall in a possible loan deal, and could feasibly leave the club in the next week.
Alex Baptiste
Defender Alex Baptiste is now 32, and having made just 3 appearances all season, he will surely be looking to move on this month.
With the form of Toni Leistner at the back, QPR have looked solid. Baptiste has been a good servant to the club but at 32, he must seek regular game time.
Bright Samuel
Bright Samuel is very young still and could use this window to seek a move, probably on loan.
The midfielder has made just 1 start all season, and he could realistically leave the club, as he seems he is not part of McClaren’s plans for the remainder of the season.
