Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is still not phased about revealing details of his team selection, after he confirmed that right-back Luke Ayling will start against Swansea City tonight, despite a recent dip in form, as reported in the YEP.

Ayling has been a regular starter for Leeds this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions and seems to be Bielsa's first choice right-back ahead of youngster Jamie Shackleton.

So is Bielsa right to select Ayling for Swansea tonight?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“He’s a decent player, so it isn’t a huge shock.

“There’s been some calls for him to be dropped, but they’re based on the whole side’s form.

“He’ll not let them down, not majorly.”

Jacob Potter

"I think it’s a stupid decision by Bielsa.

"I’m all for player loyalty, but he simply isn’t performing to the standard required in a promotion-chasing side.

"Jamie Shackleton should be starting ahead of him, and I find it scandalous that Ayling is set to retain his place against Swansea today."

Jay Taylor

“Strange, if you ask me, I would have dropped him.

“Maybe Bielsa is hoping to play him into form ahead of an important run of games until the end of the season.

“Jamie Shackleton impressed, and many feel he is more deserving of his place in the side.

“But the Leeds coach is loyal and is giving the right-back another chance.”
