Cardiff City have released their retained list following their relegation from the Premier League and it has caused some shock amongst the fanbase.

Those released include Aron Gunnarsson, Kadeem Harris and Stuart O'Keefe, as well as under 23 player Tyrone Duffus.

Iceland skipper Gunnarsson has already agreed a move to Al-Arabi, and O'Keefe hasn't featured for Cardiff in a league match since 2016, but the departure of Harris comes as a surprise.

The 25-year-old midfielder made 15 appearances this season and 70 in total, scoring six goals. His versatility was a big advantage for Cardiff over the last few years, and he would often be deployed on both flanks.

Cardiff fans will also see sad to see Gunnarsson depart, the long-term servant has been at the club since 2011, and has accumulated 286 appearances for the Bluebirds in that time, scoring 25 goals.

But judging from reaction on Twitter, Kadeem Harris is the player fans will miss most...
