Many Derby County fans have taken to Twitter to ask the club for a transfer announcement after seeing just Wayne Rooney arrive so far this month.
The arrival of England international Rooney on a free transfer at the start of the month has added some experience and quality to Derby’s side, and improvements on the pitch have followed since.
Rooney arrived on a free after seeing his contract with Major League side DC United come to an end when the season in the United States came to end last summer.
Phillip Cocu’s side are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and the Rams are slowly moving up the table, sitting 17th at present.
With the January transfer window in full swing, links to a number of players has followed but Cocu is yet to make a solid move for any new players.
Fans of the club are expecting some deals after growing frustrations over the first half of the season, and seeing their side go from play-off finalists last season to bottom half table status.
Cocu’s side face Hull City this coming Saturday and they will be looking to extend their recent impressive run.
