Leeds United ran out 2-1 winners over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road on Saturday, as they kept up the pressure on league leaders West Brom.

A Patrick Bamford penalty and a goal from Jack Harrison proved to be enough for the Whites, despite Derrick Williams' goal shortly before half-time.

The results means that Blackburn have only won once in their last eight league games, which has seen them drop down to 18th in the league table.

In a post-match interview after the defeat, Tony Mowbray made a bold statement in saying that the standard of officiating is dropping in the Championship.

"It's soft to say the best, never a penalty to say the worst. Officials - is the standard dropping in the Championship or is it just me? It felt like that game was a bit much for him today."

It's safe to say that plenty of the Elland Road faithful had something to say about Mowbray's latest comments.
