Stoke City are looking to make an instant return to the Premier League under new manager Gary Rowett, and they have already begun to make some big moves in the transfer market.

The Potters, back in the Championship after some 10 years in the top flight, will be hoping to begin the season in excellent form ahead of will no doubt be a difficult campaign despite having a squad which seems to boast enough talent to be successful.

There are bound to be even more signings in the coming weeks for Stoke, and we at FLW have been having a good think about who they might look to sign.

One player who has popped into the conversation a few times is current Hull City midfielder Jarrod Bowen, who had a superb campaign last time out for the Tigers.

14 goals for Nigel Adkins' men was an excellent return for the 21-year-old, who was playing his first full season for the Yorkshire club. Bowen appears to have all the tools needed to keep progressing and become a top Championship talent, and he could well fancy a move to a side expected to challenge for the title.

If Bowen can continue his development and add to what was an excellent year last season, then there is no reason he cannot play a vital role for Stoke should they indeed decide to pursue a deal.

Stoke fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
