Stoke City suffered their eight defeat in just their opening 10 matches of the season to fellow Championship strugglers Huddersfield Town.

Prior to the game, Stoke and Huddersfield sat 24th and 23rd in the division respectively, setting up an interesting encounter at the Bet 365 Stadium.

Both had earned just two points from their opening games but if was the visitors that earned their first three points of the season.

Juninho Bacuna’s 82nd minute goal proved to be the only difference between the two sides after 90 minutes as the game finished 1-0. A

win for Stoke would have lifted them from rock bottom of the league but, instead, they remain cemented to the summit of the division.

After the match, Stoke released a clip of manager Nathan Jones’ post-match interview and it is fair to assume that their is a divide in opinion between the supporters as to who is at fault.
