According to the Stoke Sentinel, Stoke City have joined a list of Premier League clubs interested in signing Millwall’s goalkeeper, Tom King, this summer.

King, 22, enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign in Sky Bet League One last season, making 11 appearances for Millwall, playing a part in the club’s promotion back to the Championship.

The goalkeeper has already attracted interest from Everton and Watford, but Stoke are keen to strengthen their options behind first choice duo, Jack Butland and Lee Grant, with King a reported option.

The Potters announced last week that three goalkeepers would be leaving the bet365 Stadium this summer, with Stoke opting not to renew the contracts of Shay Given and Daniel Bachmann, along with youngster Harry Isted.

King has very limited experience in the Football League, having only made his debut for Millwall in August, but did play a full season in the National League during the 2015/16 campaign, when he spent time on-loan with Welling and Braintree, making 38 appearances and helping the latter reach the play-offs.
