Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye is expected to depart from the Bet365 Stadium on loan before the closing of this summer’s loan transfer window.

According to GOAL, the 27-year-old, who has been linked with multiple moves away from the Potters, looks set to turn down a move to Turkish top tier and former side Galatasaray, in pursuit of a move to a Spanish or French side.

Ndiaye, who made 17 appearances for Galatasaray in the 2016/17 Super Lig season, scoring just one goal for the club, could not complete a deal to sign for his previous team, despite the Istanbul based side meeting the Potters financial requests.

The central midfielder moved to Stoke City in 2017, and has gone on to play 14 matches for the Potters, scoring two goals, and is now in the hunt for a move to Spain or France.

The Senegalese international never quite took to English football, despite having held a reported transfer fee of around £14m, and now is all but likely to leave Stoke City.

The Verdict

The saga continues for Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye as he once again frustrates the Potters faithful with his intent to leave.

The middle man has never settled in amongst the Stoke City side, having played a side part in the Potters relegation campaign last season.

Having failed to agree a deal with his former side, a move to Spain or France would seem a sensible one for the Senegalese player.
