Newly relegated Stoke City are set to lose midfielder Ramadan Sobhi, with Huddersfield in talks to sign the winger, according to respected journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The Egyptian winger, who is set to feature at this year's World Cup in Russia, is reportedly wanted by Terriers manager David Wagner, who is looking to strengthen his squad after leading the Yorkshire club to an unlikely stay in the top flight last term.

The 21-year-old was mainly used by the Potters off the bench last season, but showed glimpses of his ability at times with some stirring displays, and is a player capable of getting the crowd off their seats, something the noisy Huddersfield crowd will no doubt take too.

Sobhi joined the Potters back in 2016 as a teenager, completing a move from Al Ahly to the Premier League with the club, who were then managed by Tony Pulis. Stoke paid around £5m for his services, clearly confident that their man would become a star.

However, things have not quite worked out, and now Sobhi looks to be on his way out, where he will be hoping to become a regular for the Terriers as they look to defy the odds and remain in the Premier League once again.

Stoke City fans, what do you make of this? Good move? Let us know in the comments!
