A Forest side unbeaten in their last six, winning four of them, host a Barnsley side who haven't won in six, losing four times in that period. Changes may well be in the offing.

After losing to Yorkshire rivals Leeds at home last Sunday, Barnsley now have to travel to a bang in form Nottingham Forest side and try to upset a side on the rise.

Barnsley are already seven points behind 10th placed Forest and could really do with a win to close a gap which is becoming worryingly large even this early on.

In this Six Point Opinion, we discuss Stendel's approach ahead of another tough game...

Should Stendel make many or any changes?

"In all honesty, they didn't play badly last weekend, they could have got more from the game.

"They had more than enough chances which on another day they would have won possibly two matches with. There were positive signs against a strong Leeds side who were more clinical in the end.

"I don't think he should make too many changes, tactically there will be changes of course but in terms of personnel, I don't think I wouldn't want to 'start again' as it were. It is a case of stick or twist, expect more from his squad or change it."

Does Halme deserve a second chance after looking shaky last time out?

"He had a tough game playing against his old club. He's a young player who has a lot to learn but dropping him would be harsh I think.

"He's a big defender who is good with his feet. He fits the style Stendel wants to play and I think he'll only improve with game time."

Should Stendel focus on trying to keep Forest out and build from there?

"I don't agree with teams going away and shutting up shop from minute one and playing for a draw. It can be effective but it isn't a brand of football that is popular with fans.

"It could well be a case of 'smash and grab' for the Tykes tomorrow, they do look like a side that are dangerous on the counter-attack especially with Wilks being free to run at defenders.

"From what I've seen from Barnsley so far is that they're wanting to play open, expansive football which may have been their downfall to an extent but I can see them getting a result at Forest."

How important could set-pieces be for Barnsley?

"Barnsley caused problems for Leeds from corners and free-kicks, Alex Mowatt has a fantastic delivery which is such a useful weapon in the Championship. Halme is a good target to aim at, the physical battle will be interesting."

Fans were complaining substitutes let them down last week, is this fair?

"Of course football is a game of opinions, fans are entitled to their own say and it is tough to get the fine margins right every time.

"A manager is there to make decisions, in a game he makes subs based on the players coming on making a positive impact, this doesn't always happen, perhaps the players should take more responsibility."

So if you were Stendel what would you do?

"I would stick to my guns. Go to Forest and take the game to them, I think Barnsley can get a result and they should take a lot of positives from last week. If they can tighten up a little and take their chances they'll be fine.

"I think if Cameron McGeehan is fit I'd be tempted to put him back in the middle of the park but like I said I thought the midfield looked good against Leeds.

"I would keep the same team and demand more of the same from the players, especially in front of goal."
