Stevenage are currently waiting to discover the extent of damage suffered by Ronnie Henry following an injury in the pre-season friendly on Tuesday against Barnet.
Ronnie Henry re-signed for Stevenage at the end of last month and has been a frequent starter in the clubs opening few pre-season fixtures, but after just 15 minutes against Barnet on Tuesday night Henry was left hobbling off the pitch after a heavy challenge.
Stevenage suffered a 1-0 loss away to Barnet and the injury to Ronnie Henry capped off a poor display for the Hertfordshire side, in a game they were widely expected to win.
Having came so close to beaten Premier League outfit West Ham United last Saturday, The Boro were hopeful of continuing their positive form going into their clash with former-Hertfordshire rivals Barnet.
Graham Westley said the club can take a lot of positives from the 2-2 draw at home to West Ham on Saturday and will be hopeful his side can display the kind of form they showed against The Hammers in there next pre-season fixture against Ian Holloway’s Millwall next Saturday.
Stevenage have already signed 10 players to permanent contracts and reports suggest Graham Westley isn’t set to stop there and all may hinge on the results of Ronnie Henry’s injury and the extent of time he’s on the side-line for.
