Charlton Athletic got their League One season underway with a 2-2 draw at Accrington Stanley.

Not the worst start to the campaign, but after Miles Leaburn gave them a 2-1 lead in the 94th minute, the Addicks would have been disappointed to be pegged back in the 96th at the Crown Ground.

It remains to be seen how much Ben Garner is going to tinker with his starting XI over the course of the season, and having had a full week to prepare for the visit of Derby County it is likely that the line-up is largely similar to the one that took its place at Stanley.

Chuks Aneke and Mandela Egbo are sidelined, with the former hoping to be in the fold for next weekend's trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

The Rams will provide a very different test to Accrington, but with a limited sample size we are predicting an unchanged side...

Garner will consider his options and there are certainly some players from the fringes that make compelling cases to earn a start.

Sam Lavelle is competing for the right centre back position with Inniss and Charlie Kirk could replace Diallang Jaiyesimi on the right of the front three.

With the Rams expected to move the ball better than Stanley did, Garner might opt for a bit more bite in midfield, and with Conor McGrandles and Alex Gilbey available there could an alteration in central midfield.

Jack Payne will play some part, after chipping in with a superb assist off the bench last time out, but it is likely that the 27-year-old is not yet ready to play a full match.

Miles Leaburn will likely be introduced at some stage, but Garner may be hesitant to increase the 18-year-old's workload too much in his first season in senior football, with the club's Carabao Cup first round tie against Queens Park Rangers around the corner.
