Aston Villa are perhaps playing their best brand of football since Steve Bruce’s arrival a year ago, and for the first time they look like an outfit capable of challenging for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship.

Bruce’s side have won four consecutive Championship fixtures, naming the same XI in all four outings.

However, Villa will have to make one forced change this weekend when they travel to Molineux to face Wolves, with Neil Taylor suspended.

We are expecting James Bree to replace the Welshman, and the rest of Bruce’s starting XI to remain the same as the previous four fixtures.

Wolves are currently second in the Championship table, and themselves are on excellent run of form.

Nuno’s side will hand Villa their biggest task of the season so far, and here at FLW, we have looked at the possibility of Bruce’s men falling behind at Molineux on Saturday evening.

We believe that would force Bruce into making two key changes to his Villa side, brining on Mile Jedinak and Josh Onomah to replace Glenn Whelan and Keinan Davis.

This switch would see Jedinak as the only holding midfielder, letting Villa switch from a 4-4-2 formation to a 4-1-4-1 system.

Conor Hourihane would be given a licence to push further up the field alongside Onomah, with Jedinak providing defensive cover behind the duo - ultimately allowing more bodies into the final third of the pitch.

Albert Adomah and Robert Snodgrass would support the attack from the wide areas, with Jonathan Kodjia left as the lone striker.
