Steve Bruce was appointed as Aston Villa manager on Wednesday evening following the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo.

Villa fans have been feeling incredibly optimistic over their chances of making up the ground between themselves and the Play-Offs.

Bruce led Hull to the Play-Off Final last season where they beat Carlos Carvalhal's Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 thanks to a stunner from Mo Diame, and Villa fans would hope that with the funds on offer this season, they could be set for a similar fate.

However, the quality of the squad is way below the level Bruce would hope, and you can imagine that in January he will look to bolster the squad.

This will mean that several of the youngsters around the fringes of the squad will be farmed out on loan with first team opportunities limited.

With January just 3 months away, here are TWO players Steve Bruce should loan out come January....

Andre Green

The 18-year-old has found first team opportunities hard to come by in recent times, and it's not hard to see why.

With Rudy Gestede, Ross McCormack and Jonathan Kodjia all available up top, Green hasn't had a look in, and out wide, where the youngster also plays, Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah have stole the show.

Green's talent is undoubted, and he's represented England at every level up to Under-18s, and a spell at a bottom half Championship side or League 1 team would do him the world of good.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy

Another young player who has been involved with the England youth setup since he turned 16, Hepburn-Murphy is highly rated at Villa, and many expect him to break into the first team in the near future.

At 18 years of age, he has a lot of potential to fill and a long time to fill it, and his pace and direct dribbling makes him a valuable asset up top.

Whilst the Championship may be a leap too far right now, League 2 could be a perfect stomping ground for the striker.
