According to the Daily Star, Leeds United are monitoring Steve Bruce's situation at Aston Villa ahead of any potential movement.

The Whites are looking to be aggressive this summer after a disappointing 2017/18 and Paul Heckingbottom's future is by no means certain at the moment.

Certainly, you could see him going as the Whites look to start afresh once again and according to the report the former Manchester United defender could be in-line to help that happen if he leaves Villa.

For sure, it would be an eye-brow raising move for a number of reasons and he would surely have to make some big signings in order to win a few concerned fans over given his Old Trafford past.

Whilst we wait to see what exactly happens there, then, we thought we'd take a look at three players he could aim to bring in given his vast links in the game...

Abel Hernandez is a player Leeds fans really want and Bruce's arrival could just see him join the club this summer.

They worked well together at Hull City and if he could get similar from him at Leeds the Whites would become a real force.

Certainly, it'd get a lot of Whites fans onside.

Dawson is a good centre-half and Leeds could perhaps do with an extra one or two.

Kyle Bartley is the one they want but there's also a case to suggest they shouldn't stop there.

Certainly, the experienced Hull man would be worth a real look.

Snodgrass is a man familiar to Leeds fans and is certainly good enough to be in the Premier League.

If West Ham do not want him and he can't get a top flight move, though, who's to say Bruce couldn't get him to Leeds?

They've worked together more than once and is the kind of quality player Leeds would be making a real statement with.
