Speaking to the club’s official website, Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has said where he believes his side still need to improve ahead of tonight’s clash with Huddersfield Town.

A disappointing run between Boxing Day and the end of February, where Villa failed to record a single victory, looked to have left their season in tatters, as they were hovering just above the relegation zone.

A victory against Derby County at the end of last month has inspired Villa to record three consecutive victories, moving them to 13th in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Despite a recent upturn in results, Bruce wants more from his side, especially in attack, he told @AVFCOfficial: “We are not converting the number of chances for what we are creating. We definitely need to be more clinical in front of goal.”

Villa have been far from prolific this season, scoring just 35 goals across the campaign, with only Rotherham, Wigan and Burton finding the net less.

Jonathan Kodjia is the club’s top scorer this season with 13 goals, including two in his last two appearances.
