The Steel City derby returns this weekend as Sheffield Wednesday host Sheffield United at Hillsborough on Sunday, in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

It is set to be a fascinating encounter between two sides who've enjoyed relatively strong starts to their respective campaigns.

Chris Wilder's Sheffield United currently sit the higher of the two, with the Blades occupying sixth place in the division, whilst Sheffield Wednesday sit in ninth place in the league.

This particular derby is undoubtedly one of the most fiercely contested derbies in English football, and the fact it's the first one since 2012 suggests this match will be even more competitive.

Sheffield will come to a stand-still on Sunday as these two teams clash, but who is the 'bigger' club between the two?

This is a debate that has rumbled on for a long, long time, and we decided to ask our Twitter followers who they thought was the bigger club, between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.

Interestingly, it was a pretty close affair, but the overall winners were Sheffield Wednesday.

The Owls picked up 56% of the vote, so according to our poll, Sheffield Wednesday are the 'biggest' club in Sheffield.

Is this the right result? Are the Owls the bigger club? Let us know below!
