‘Stealing a living’ – Leeds and Boro fans react as former boss tries his hand at punditry



Former Swansea City player and manager Garry Monk returned to the Liberty Stadium last night as a pundit as the BBC broadcast the Swans’ FA Cup replay against Notts County live.

The game in South Wales couldn’t have been any more one-sided for Carlos Carvalhal’s side, with the home team running out 8-1 winners as the Premier League outfit mauled their League Two opponents on the night.

Pundit Monk returned to the Liberty after departing the club in 2015, after which he enjoyed spells with Leeds United and Middlesbrough.

Monk departed the Whites for Boro in the summer under a cloud of controversy, before receiving the boot at The Riverside Stadium after failing to mount a serious promotion challenge in his first year in charge.
