Derby County returned to winning ways at the weekend as they convincingly saw off Graham Potter's Swansea City side in a 2-1 win.

The result left them in the same seventh-placed spot but drew them level on points with Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and West Brom.

There was more relatively positive news for the club off the pitch as well as club captain Curtis Davies shared an update on his latest injury:

Davies, who moved to Pride Park from Hull City in the summer of 2017, was stretchered off against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium last week with an Achilles injury that is set to keep him out for the foreseeable future.

Davies has been an important part of Frank Lampard's squad this season despite missing large chunks of it through injury.
