There is a full list of fixtures in the Football League this evening, with Bristol Rovers travelling to Portsmouth in Sky Bet League One.

Both Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth are looking to climb their way up the League One table and into play-off contention, with the two clubs entering tonight’s fixture in 14th and 15th respectively.

Darrell Clarke’s Bristol Rovers side are looking for back-to-back victories in League One for the first time in over a month, following Saturday’s impressive 3-1 victory over Blackpool.

Rovers will be confident of picking up three points this evening, but transfermarkt point out to us the worrying record that Clarke has when facing Portsmouth as a manager, highlighting that on the four occasions he has faced them, he has lost.

Clarke, who was appointed at the Memorial Stadium in 2014, faced Portsmouth three times in League Two between 2014 and 2016, losing on all three occasions.

Bristol Rovers also faced Portsmouth last season, despite finding themselves in different divisions, with Pompey running out 1-0 winners in the EFL Trophy.

However, Clarke will be confident of a positive result tonight at Fratton Park, particularly after watching his side bounce back with a victory against Blackpool, after a frustrating few weeks had seen them lose three consecutive fixtures.
