Derby County edged through to the fifth round of the FA Cup courtesy of a competitive and challenging trip to Accrington Stanley.

The League One side made things tough for Frank Lampard's Rams, even though they were reduced to ten men after 59 minutes. Daniel Barlaser was sent off for the hosts with the score delicately poised at 0-0.

That gave the Championship side the nudge they needed and Waghorn's 78th minute strike was all it took to separate the two teams at the final whistle. There was a little controversy left in the match as Jayden Bogle got himself a red card late on.

Putting aside the difference in levels, it was a hard-fought game of attrition for the Rams and the goal from Waghorn brought their fans out in force on social media. They're pushing for him to get a Championship start after improved performances in recent weeks.
