Sheffield Wednesday were beaten 1-0 by Championship strugglers Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday evening.
James Collins’ goal proved to be the difference between the two sides on the night, as the Hatters moved off the bottom of the second-tier table.
But it was a night to forget for Garry Monk’s side, as they continued to struggle for positive performances under the former Leeds boss in recent weeks.
The defeat means that Sheffield Wednesday have now lost six of their last nine games in all competitions, which has seen them slide down the Championship table at a quite alarming rate.
The poor performance from Monk’s side led to chants from the club’s supporters saying that the players are ‘not fit to wear the shirt’ as footage of post-match emerged from the away end.
Plenty of Sheffield Wednesday fans took to Twitter to issue their thoughts on this chant from the travelling support at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday.
