Things may not be going well for Reading on the pitch at the moment, with the Royals without a permanent manager and sat in the relegation zone in the Championship.

With the wholesale changes at the Berkshire based club recently, it's difficult to see an identity for Reading supporters, but the club's latest announcement is likely to please the Madejski Stadium faithful.

In a statement on the club's official website, Reading announced that owners Mr and Ms Dai have subsidised the cost of away tickets for their FA Cup game against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the New Year.

The original pricing structure set up by Manchester United would see adult tickets range between £37-£45, which wouldn't have gone down well at all.

But the owners' latest decision means that adults won't pay more than £30 for a ticket to Old Trafford.

How did supporters react to the news of this brilliant gesture?
