‘Start him or we lose him’ – Phil Hay’s latest comments have plenty of Leeds United fans in agreement

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa faces a real selection dilemma heading into their game against Birmingham City this weekend.

Eddie Nketiah netted a hat-trick for the England under 21’s against Andorra during the international set of fixtures, and the forward revealed that he’s not content with a place on the substitutes bench in Bielsa’s squad.

The Athletic’s Phil Hay issued his thoughts on the debate, which is likely to keep the Elland Road faithful talking for the majority of this year’s league campaign.

Nketiah is yet to make a start for Leeds in their league campaign, although he has been used as a substitute on seven occasions so far this term.

But when the on-loan Arsenal forward has been presented with a starting spot, he’s certainly taken it with Nketiah having four goals to his name.

Plenty of Leeds United fans took to social media to react to Hay’s latest comments.
