Felix Magath recently made what seems to be a shrewd signing in bringing in Konstantinos Stafylidis from Bayer Leverkusen, and after playing at Fir Park on Saturday he told Fulham's website he is enjoying his new team.

“I’m very happy to be here at Fulham,I only joined up with the team last week, so it’s early days. But it’s been really good so far, and it’s been great to be involved so quickly."

Stafylidis was among the scores in Fulham's 2-0 win at Motherwell and after providing an assist to Dembele earlier in the week he looks to be a promising asset to Felix Magath and Fulham.

The 20 year old signs as fellow Greek Giorgios Karagounis departs from the club and the full back expressed his admiration. He said "Giorgios is a legend in Greece" and he hopes he can replicate his success.

He also added how he sees similarities between the German game and the English game, he added “I think there are similarities between German and English football and, as a result, I’m confident that I can make the transition. Both are physical, and played at a fast pace. Of course, the Manager is German – as are some of the coaches – so it makes it a bit easier."

The Greek full back was one of the stand out players in the under 19s championships meaning Bayer Leverkusen had to hurry to secure his services. The 20 year old left PAOK at a young age but he seems to be settling into English life well.
