Plymouth sit 11th in League Two following their relegation from League One. They've fallen into poor form, winning just one of their last six. They face 20th placed Carlisle this weekend, a chance to turn around their form.

Key midfielder Danny Mayor is unavailable due to suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards.

Conor Grant, Ryan Taylor and Dom Telford are also still injured and unavailable to Ryan Lowe. Telford is currently at St George's Park for his rehab and is close to being back in training after missing the last four games.

The Plymouth Herald has reported that Byron Moore is match fit for the weekend following his return to training this week following a hamstring injury. It's important to have an experienced striker back with Telford and Taylor still injured, as otherwise, Lowe was resorting to unproven young players. Although it's good for them to get some minutes and experience, it isn't ideal for Lowe's performances.

The Verdict

They have four players still unavailable which isn't ideal for Lowe in his team selection.

They've scored a respectable 18 goals but no player has more than two goals. Having two injured strikers may make Lowe's decision more simple but it makes it difficult for him to switch things up with his team going into a game where it is a good chance to turn around his team's fortune at home against a low placed side.
