Mauricio Pochettino has done an admirable job at Spurs this season, getting them to a Champions League final and having another top four finish in the league.

The London club spent literally nothing in the summer transfer window last time, so his job looks even better for that.

Now, his attention must turn to who he may sign this summer, with a few Football League stars on his radar.

Jack Grealish was a name heavily linked last summer, but a potential deal for him this season depends on how Villa do in the play-off final.

Another name Spurs may pursue is that of Jarrod Bowen at Hull City.

After being introduced to the first team at Hull under Marco Silva, Bowen has really kicked on this season.

Being the star in a very average Hull side, Bowen was central to the Tigers’ run over Christmas that saw them climb out of the relegation zone into and around the play-off zone.

Inconsistency meant that Nigel Adkins’ men were unable to attain a playoff spot, but who knows where they may have finished if they hadn’t had such a poor start to the season.

Bowen to the right and Grosicki to the left proved a lethal combination for the Tigers, with Hull impressing in many games, particularly over the festive period.

The youngster scored a massive 22 goals this season, but his overall play has called for many to fancy him for a Premier League move in the summer.

The feeling around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is that a wide man would be very welcome this summer, with Spurs often playing without a definite winger.

Dele Alli has had an average season, and questions have been asked of Eric Lamela who has struggled with injuries.

Therefore, if Spurs were to make a move for Bowen, he could be a real weapon for Pochettino’s men.

He would obviously not slot straight into the eleven, but he could impress off the bench and hopefully gain a starting spot after a few months.

Whatever happens with Bowen, he is destined for a top career.
