Kasimpasa sporting director Nursal Bilgin has failed to ruled out selling Mbaye Diagne, despite revealing their has yet to be an official bid for the player.

Leeds United have been linked with a move for the senegalese striker in recent weeks.

The 26-year-old still has a year left to run on his current deal with the Turkish Super Big club having joined in January.

The player scored nine goals in his 17 appearances last year and that has been enough to alert Leeds to pursue a signing that would increase their goal return ahead of the new season.

Diagne still has a year left on his contract in Turkey and the Kasimpasa sporting director revealed they have an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

Whites boss Marco Bielsa faces stiff competition from Championship rivals Hull City who, according to the Hull Daily Mail, have entered the race to secure the services of the Senegal striker.

The Verdict

Leeds and Hull should move heaven and earth to bring the £1.35million rated striker to their club.

His goal-scoring exploits during his six months in Turkey show he can find the back of the net and being at a good age, there is certainly more room to improve.

He would be a player that Leeds or Hull should do all they can to sign.
