Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish has emerged as a potential injury concern for Dean Smith after he went off late on against West Brom last night.

The talented 23-year-old hobbled off with his side 2-1 up before a controversial late equaliser from Jay Rodriguez rescued a point for Albion.

And, Grealish took to twitter today to speak about the game and he also gave an update on his fitness.

"Can’t believe we didn’t come away with all 3 points last night after a good performance. Brilliant performance & goals @AElGhazi7 Gutted to come off with the injury fingers crossed it isn’t to bad."

That suggests that Grealish is waiting to see how his injury settles in the next few days ahead of Saturday's game against Stoke City.

Given his importance to Villa, the supporters were understandably hoping that it's nothing serious.

As well as that, some commented on the poor decision to allow the late goal for West Brom.

Here's some of the reaction to Grealish's tweet...
