Barry Douglas has recently described the atmosphere at Leeds United as unique, not likening it to what he experienced with Wolverhampton Wanderers last season.  

Leeds brought Douglas on board from Wolves in the summer, with the left-back arriving at Elland Road on the back of guiding the Molineux club to the Premier League last season.

There have been claims that this Leeds side are similar to Nuno Santo’s Wolves, but Douglas has played that down in a recent interview with LUTV.

“It’s different teams and I’ve had this question 100 times but you can’t compare,” the 29-year-old stated.

“What we’ve got this season is special and unique. The spirit we’ve got is something you rarely come by in your career. It’s a special time and hopefully we can create special memories.”

Douglas is currently on the sidelines with injury, but has managed just four assists in his 22 Championship appearances for the Whites, with his form a shadow of what we saw last season at Molineux.
