Southampton, Hull City and Crystal Palace are all chasing a deal for Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede, according to Sports Mole.

Gestede is attracting interest

Hull made a series of bids for the 26-year-old in January, but Blackburn's transfer embargo encouraged them to reject all bids. The Tigers then ended up signing Dame N'Doye from Lokomotiv Moscow.

Crystal Palace were also chasing the striker as Alan Pardew tried to keep his team in the Premier League, but it now appears the club will be after him again this summer after almost definitely securing the Eagles safety.

Whilst Southampton's interest is new, they'll be looking to expand their strike force after their poor form in front of goal this season.

Gestede has 16 goals this season in all competitions and would probably leave for a hefty fee given Blackburn's financial fair play situation.

Blackburn have had a disappointing year this season, which was somewhat brought to life by their FA Cup run, which unfortunately ended at the hands of Liverpool in the quarter finals.

Gary Bowyer's Blackburn Rovers side currently sit in ninth spot in the Sky Bet Championship, having amassed 59 points this season.
