Sources: Salford City set to part company with 23-year-old before the end of January
Salford City striker Aramide Oteh is set to leave the club later this month when his contract expires, Football League World understand.
Oteh was added to Gary Bowyer’s squad back in September on a short-term contract that’s due to expire soon.
Football League World understands that Oteh will depart the Peninsula Stadium between now and the end of the January transfer window in just under two weeks time.
The 23-year-old forward, who began his career in the Academy at Tottenham, has options on the horizon in the form of Scottish sides in the Premiership and Championship.
Have Salford City had a higher or lower average attendance compared to these 23 sides this season?
Oteh has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Salford this season, scoring twice.
He featured last night in League Two, as Salford beat Port Vale 1-0 thanks to Tom Elliott’s 50th minute goal. Oteh, though, only lasted 45 minutes before he was replaced by Conor McAleny.
Last night’s victory leaves Salford in 10th, four points adrift of the League Two play-off places.
