Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal to sign Andre Dozzell from Ipswich Town and the move will be announced officially in the coming days, Football League World can reveal..

The Hoops have had a busy, productive transfer window so far with the likes of Charlie Austin, Sam Field and Jordy de Wijs all agreeing to make their loan spells from last season permanent.

Indeed, that should help them build on what was a strong end to last season and the work to improve the squad has continued, with Football League World learning that an agreement has now been reached to sign Dozzell from Ipswich Town.

Earlier this week, West London Sport revealed that Macauley Bonne, who had been touted as being part of a swap deal with Dozzell, would be staying at Rangers as the Hoops wanted to develop him, with talks therefore ongoing over the straight transfer of the Ipswich man.

Those talks, Football League World can confirm, have now come to a positive conclusion from QPR's perspective, with the 22-year-old midfielder set to be announced as a Hoops player in the coming days.

It'll be a good addition to the Rangers midfield, too, with the likes of Tom Carroll currently on course to leave the club having not yet agreed on a new contract.
