Plymouth Argyle have rejected a transfer approach from Peterborough United for midfielder Panutche Camara, Football League World has been told.

The Posh have had a pretty busy January market so far with the likes of Bali Mumba and Callum Morton joining Darren Ferguson's men.

They are, of course, looking to try and avoid relegation from the Sky Bet Championship this season and so any further signings they can make in the next few days could be crucial towards achieving that aim.

Football League World can reveal, then, that Plymouth midfielder Panutche Camara is on their radar but so far Argyle have rebuffed the interest from the Posh.

The men from Home Park have rejected an approach from Peterborough, with the Green Army looking to achieve promotion this season from Sky Bet League One.

They currently lie in 7th place in the third tier with their blistering start to the campaign faltering a little in more recent times, though Camara has remained a key part of the side.

He's made 25 starts so far in the third tier this year, chipping in with three goals, and it's only natural Plymouth are trying to keep a hold of him past the end of the current window.
