Peterborough United are set to try and offload goalkeeper Christy Pym in the January transfer window when it opens in just over three months time, sources have exclusively told Football League World.

The 26-year-old joined Posh in the summer of 2019 from Exeter City after coming through the Grecians' academy and playing 151 league games for them.

Pym has been a mainstay between the sticks at London Road since his arrival, including at the start of the current season as Posh were promoted to the Championship.

His seventh league appearance of the season though, which came against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, could be his last in a Peterborough shirt.

Posh lost 3-1 and Pym was not in the squad for the club's weekend clash with Birmingham City, prompting speculation over his future.

Darren Ferguson confirmed later on that Pym had 'overstepped the mark' in the dressing room following the loss to the Royals, and it looks like whatever happened has sealed his fate at the club as he looks set to depart the club in a few months time.
