Morecambe defender Sam Lavelle has rejected a new deal at the club amid interest from elsewhere, sources have exclusively told Football League World.
Lavelle has been on Morecambe’s books since 2017 following his arrival from Bolton Wanderers, and has since made 161 appearances for the club.
The centre-half played an influential role in helping the Shrimps win promotion from League Two via the play-offs last season, making a whopping 55 appearances in total.
Lavelle, who has featured in two League One games and a Carabao Cup fixture for Morecambe this season, has been attracting interest from elsewhere.

Wycombe Wanderers have been strongly linked with the 24-year-old, who is out of contract at Morecambe at the end of this season.
Sources have now exclusively told Football League World that Lavelle has turned down a new deal at the Mazuma Stadium, as Morecambe look to cling onto the defender.
The Shrimps have made a solid start to life in League One under Stephen Robinson, yielding four points from their first two league games.
Robinson’s men also beat Blackburn in the first round of the Carabao Cup, coming from behind to win 2-1 at Ewood Park.
