Hull City are in talks with Ryan Longman as they look to edge their Championship rivals to a loan agreement for the Brighton and Hove Albion player, a source has exclusively revealed to Football League World.
Grant McCann’s side are preparing themselves for a return to the Championship in 2021/22, with the Tigers on the lookout for recruits to bolster the squad at the KCOM Stadium.
Longman, 20, is a player that’s firmly on the radar, having impressed last year in League One whilst on loan with AFC Wimbledon.
In all competitions, the Brighton loanee made 52 appearances, scored nine times and registered a further five assists.
A source has now revealed to Football League World that Hull are looking to edge ahead of their Championship rivals in pursuit of the forward, with talks between parties underway.
It was claimed by Football Insider last month that Nottingham Forest were amongst the clubs interested in striking a deal with Brighton for Longman this summer.
Longman has so far made just one senior appearance for Brighton’s senior side.
