Scott Parker will be tempted to move to AFC Bournemouth and take up the managerial reins on the south coast if an official approach is made, Football League World has been told exclusively.
The Cherries are facing another season in the Sky Bet Championship after missing out on promotion via the play-offs, with Brentford beating them in the semi-finals.
Indeed, that could cost Jonathan Woodgate his job with The Sun reporting over the weekend that Parker is among the targets to replace him if the Cherries decide to make a change in the dugout.
And, that said, Football League World has been told exclusively that Parker would be ‘definitely tempted’ to leave Craven Cottage and take up a new challenge on the south coast.
The Fulham boss, of course, oversaw their promotion back into the Premier League at the end of the elongated 2019/20 season but their time in the top-flight ultimately proved unsuccessful as they dropped straight back down alongside Sheffield United and West Brom.
He could be tempted to make the switch to the Cherries if they opt to ditch Woodgate and make an approach for him, then, and time will just have to tell as to what happens in this particular situation.
