Everton remain keen on young Sheffield United forward Daniel Jebbison, Football League World has been told.
The Blades are currently fully focused on trying to overturn a one-goal deficit against Nottingham Forest in the second leg of their play-off clash in the Sky Bet Championship, and they surely know that if they do miss out on winning promotion this season they are at risk of losing some of their top players.
Jebbison, meanwhile, has bags of potential and so that is why Everton are keen, with him actually scoring against the Toffees when the Blades were in the Premier League last.
Indeed, that left an impression on the Blues and they have remained keen on him ever since, with this site being told that they see him as a new Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the future.
Jebbison spent time on loan in League One earlier on in the campaign with Burton Albion and so if Everton do sign him in the summer you might expect that they would loan him out once more to ensure that he keeps playing regular football.
Sheffield United will naturally want to keep him, though, and they’ll just hope they can offer him Premier League opportunities next season in trying to do that.
