AFC Bournemouth plan to price Everton and West Ham out of a move to sign Lloyd Kelly this January, Football League World understands.

Kelly has enjoyed a fine Championship season so far, featuring 20 times in the Championship and playing a crucial role in helping Scott Parker's side into automatic promotion contention.

The 23-year-old's performances, though, aren't going unnoticed, with Premier League interest emerging in him this month in Everton and West Ham.

Football League World understands that Bournemouth are proving to be stern negotiators when it comes to a potential move for the defender.

The Cherries are refusing to discuss the prospect of Kelly leaving, with it Football League World's understanding that should a bid arrive, the club will ask for 'silly' money and price any suitor out of a move.

Kelly has previous Premier League experience, having played for Bournemouth during the relegation season back in 2019/20.

He does have a wealth of experience in the second-tier, having progressed through the academy at Bristol City before a £13m transfer to Bournemouth in May 2019.

Across three-and-a-half seasons in the Championship with Bristol City and Bournemouth, Kelly has made over 100 appearances.
