Lucas Joao has looked a man possessed in recent matches for Reading, with him helping breathe life into their survival bid in the Sky Bet Championship, and Football League World can reveal that Premier League eyes are being drawn towards him.

The Portuguese forward has suffered with injuries for the Royals this season but since his return he has found his shooting boots to give the club hope that they are going to remain in the second tier.

Indeed, he has four goals and three assists in his last three appearances for the club, with him helping them to wins over Birmingham City and Preston North End before that.

Certainly, he looks the key factor behind Reading's potential finish outside of the relegation zone this year but, after this season, there is every chance he could be poached by a top flight side.

Football League World can reveal, then, that Wolves and Crystal Palace are keen on the player with him having 18 months left on his current contract with the Royals and, with Reading's financial situation far from idea, there's every chance they may have to cash in this summer.

First, though, they'll be keen to see Joao fire them to safety.
