The January transfer window is getting towards its final week now and it seems as though there are going to be plenty of signings between now and then.

It's the final chance for teams to improve their sides ahead of the business end of the campaign and plenty will be looking to do just that, with the likes of Hull City making another deal happen today.

Indeed, they have signed Marc Pugh and one optimistic Spurs fan has asked whether or not that could open the door for Jarrod Bowen to move to their club.

It appears, though, it won't:

Pugh is a decent Championship player and it signals Nigel Adkins' intentions that he is going to try and add experience in their play-off push.

The Tigers have had a good run in recent weeks and if they can keep their squad together - including Bowen - they have a chance.

The Verdict

Spurs fans won't be happy but they might well have been expecting such a verdict.

They haven't signed anyone this season, and Hull seem determined to keep Bowen for this campaign at least, helped by their recent good form.

It would appear, then, that in the final week he might not be going anywhere.
