Leeds United picked up a vital win last night, beating Swansea City 2-1 at Elland Road to bounce back to the top of the league.

Marcelo Bielsa sent his side out with a point to prove, racing into a 20th minute lead as Pontus Jansson finished brilliantly following a scramble in the Swans' penalty area.

And it was 2-0 just 14 minutes later as winger Jack Harrison flicked a fabulous header into the net at the near post after an Ezgjan Alioski cross to give them a comfortable half-time lead.

Oli McBurnie clawed one back late on from the spot after Luke Ayling had given away a clumsy penalty, but the Whites held on.

It was a match with plenty of sub-plots leading up to it, not least Daniel James return to the club he so nearly joined in January, but also Matt Grimes chance to prove himself after a disappointing loan spell at Elland Road in the 2016/17 season.

After a disappointing match, however, the 23-year-old admitted that Leeds never saw the best of him three years ago.

Here is how the home faithful reacted to those comments...
