Tottenham have entered the race to sign in-form striker Che Adams from Birmingham, according to TEAMtalk.

Adams has been in excellent form this season for the Blues, and has been their main outlet for goals, with 19 to his name.

It has previously been reported by the Daily Mirror that he was attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Celtic.

So it's clear to see that he's going to be a man in demand in the summer, and Birmingham boss Garry Monk faces a tough task to persuade Adams to stay with the Blues.

It remains to be seen as to whether Spurs will submit a formal offer for Adams, and they could be put off by Birmingham's hefty asking price for their star man.

The report outlines that the Blues want £20m for the 22-year-old.

But would Adams be a good signing by Spurs if they struck a deal for him?

We discuss....

George Harbey

"What a signing this would be!

"Adams has shown what a fantastic player he really is this season, having scored so many goals for Birmingham.

"He has all the attributes in the world to succeed in the Premier League and would be a great signing for Spurs."

Jacob Potter

"This would be an excellent bit of business.

"I certainly think that Adams can cut it in the Premier League and he's surely going to a better option to be pushing Harry Kane for a starting spot.

"He's worth the hefty fee that is being quoted."

Louie Chandler

"I think this would be a great signing.

"Llorente has done OK in Harry Kane's absence but is coming towards the end of his career.

"In Che Adams they would have somebody to offer both sound back-up to Kane and take over responsibilities if he was to leave."
