Bradford City's horrendous run of form continued on Saturday as a 4-0 defeat to Gillingham condemned them to their fifth straight defeat. 

It leaves Hopkin's side rock-bottom of the table and with pressure rightly growing on co-chairmen Edin Rahic and Stefan Rupp after a string of dreadfully judged decisions.

The result left the Bantams bottom of the third division with 16 games now played and are now four points adrift of safety.

Hopkin has now lost eight of the ten games he has taken charge of for the club this season since moving south of the border at the start of September.

With five defeats in a row leaving them facing a surprise relegation after flirting with promotion in recent seasons, the pressure is growing both on Hopkin and the Bradford board.

The reaction to Hopkin's apology has been mixed, but the one common denominator in every comment was anger.
