Wolves have been one of the Championship's biggest strugglers all season and Paul Lambert's side are very much still fighting for their lives down at the bottom of the table.

On paper, Wolves certainly have one of the better squads in the division and despite changing managers halfway through the campaign, it's wielded little result and the pressure very much remains on Lambert to keep his side in the league.

But they've won the last three games on the spin and going into this weekend's tie against Cardiff, it's safe to say the Midlanders will be feeling quietly confident about their chances.

It's been a highly forgettable campaign for most supporters who have seen their team lose far too much at home over the course of the season and it highlights the need for a complete squad overhaul, with many fans feeling that there are certain individuals in the ranks that just aren't good enough.

And with plenty of money behind the team in new owners Fosun, there will be individuals who will be worrying about their first-team futures moving forward.

So with that in mind, here's the TWO Wolves players that have underperformed most this campaign...

Nouha Dicko

After coming back from injury, French striker Nouha Dicko has struggled to get on the scoresheet consistently enough for Wolves, who have needed more goals in their striking ranks throughout the whole of the campaign.

The Midlanders have been relying on the likes of Dicko and Bodvarsson to provide the goals all season but they've provided just five between them all season, which just isn't enough.

Dicko needs to step up his game towards the end of the season or he might face the chop from Lambert's squad this summer when the much-needed overhaul comes.

George Saville

Former Chelsea youngster George Saville really divides the Wolves support but compared to what we saw from him last season, he's had arguably his poorest campaign to date.

Because of the lack of depth in this current Wolves XI, he's still picked week-after-week but is failing to turn in performances that have helped Wolves climb the table.

He's another that could face the axe this summer if he doesn't pick things up sooner rather than later.
